ABOUT AMY

Amy Knips (silent K! yes, it’s just “nips”) is an actor, singer, and dancer based in New York City.

Amy grew up in the Hudson Valley, and received her BFA in musical theatre from Rider University. She has been performing regionally for over 10 years, and some of her most favorite credits include The Will Rogers Follies, A Chorus Line, Chicago, and Cabaret.

Amy also spent the past two years traveling and performing at sea with Norwegian Creative Studios! She appeared onboard the Regent Seven Seas Navigator and RSS Voyager as a Singer / Dancer & company manager.

When not performing, Amy is an avid reader and spin enthusiast. She is a lover of Joni Mitchell, the NY Times Crossword, and watching tennis…just in case you were curious.
