ABOUT AMY

Amy Knips (silent K! yes, it’s just “nips”) is an actor, singer, and dancer based in New York City.

She is currently on tour with the U.S. company of CHICAGO as Go-To-Hell Kitty & Roxie understudy! Come catch her in the cell block through May, 2026!

Amy grew up in the Hudson Valley and received her BFA in musical theatre from Rider University. She made her national tour debut with Pretty Woman: The Musical in 2025 after two years at sea with Norwegian Creative Studios. When not performing, Amy is an avid reader, yogi, and spin enthusiast. She is a lover of Joni Mitchell, the NY Times Crossword, and watching tennis…just in case you were curious.
